Metal Tubes

Subject tubes are a specific type of steel tube used in a variety of industrial applications. These tubes are usually manufactured by hot rolling and cold drawing, where the steel is shaped into the desired shape and size at room temperature.

Subject tubes are seamless tubes with a larger wall thickness. They are machined and used for components with holes. Subject tubes are preferable to drilling holes in rods as it can result in greater material waste and costs.
